White Sugar Buttermilk Gingerbread Recipe

  1. Cream sugar and butter till light, 5-7 min.
  2. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
  3. Stir together flour, baking pwdr, soda, ginger, nutmeg and salt.
  4. Add in to creamed mix alternately with buttermilk, beating after each addition.
  5. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 min.
  7. Cold.
  8. Cut in squares.
  9. Garnish with whipped cream and grnd nutmeg.
  10. Nice with fruit also.
