Barbecued Corn With Chili Butter Recipe
- 12 x ears corn unhusked
- 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine softened
- 2 Tbsp. warm sauce
- 1 tsp chili pwdr
- 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
- Peel back husks; remove corn silk.
- Bring husks up and tie with kitchen string.
- Soak corn in cool water for 30 min.
- Beat remaining ingredients together till smooth; set aside.
- Grill corn over medium heat for 25 min or possibly till corn is tender, turning often.
- Remove husks.
- Serve with butter mix.
- This recipe yields 12 servings.
- Comments: For variety, add in one of the following to 1/2 c. soft butter: 3 Tbsp.
- brown mustard and 1 Tbsp.
- horseradish; or possibly 3 Tbsp.
- chopped fresh herbs and 1 Tbsp.
- Worcestershire sauce.
