Easy Mexican Dip
- 1 package Cream Cheese (8 Ounce Package)
- 1 cup Picante Sauce Plus Extra For Topping, To Taste
- 3 Tablespoons Chopped Cilantro, Divided
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese Mix, Or More To Taste
- Soften 8 ounce package of cream cheese and mix well with one cup of picante sauce and 2 tablespoons of cilantro (fresh is best, but if using dried, reduce to 2 teaspoons dried and leave out the additional garnish).
- Spread evenly in a 9-inch round pie plate or similar.
- Layer one cup (or to taste) 0f shredded cheese mix evenly across the top.
- Top with additional picante sauce (as much as you want) and garnish with remaining fresh cilantro.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
- This is a good basic recipe to start with and you can add your own mix- ins as desired.
