Green Bean Casserole Recipe

  1. Chop onion.
  2. Saute/fry in butter till tender.
  3. Cook green beans with a small amount of bacon drippings till most of the liquid has evaporated.
  4. slice water chestnuts and add in to beans.
  5. Mix onions, grated cheese and mushroom soup with beans.
  6. Pour into casserole.
  7. Sprinkle Ritz cracker crumbs over top.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees till bubbly.
  9. Serves 8.
