Candy Shop Fudge Recipe
- 1 lb bitter sweet chocolate Or possibly
- 2 pkt semisweet chocolate (8 ounce) coarsely minced
- 14 ounce sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 1 c. walnuts coarsely minced
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt
- Line 8 by 8 inch metal pan with plastic wrap.
- Smooth out as many wrinkles as possible.
- In heavy 2 qt sauce pan heat chocolate and lowfat milk over medium low heat till chocolate melts, stirring constantly.
- Remove sauce pan from heat.
- Stir in walnuts, vanilla and salt.
- Don't over mix.
- Spoon chocolate mix in to pan, spread proportionately.
- Chill 3 hrs or possibly till hard.
- Remove fudge from pan.
- Cut fudge in to 6 strips then cut each strip cross wise in to 6 pcs.
- Store fudge in tightly covered container at room temperature.
