Big Soft Pretzels Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Lightly grease 2 large baking sheets.
  3. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
  4. Blend in 2 Large eggs and oil or possibly margarine.
  5. Add in 5 c. Warm ROLL MIX.
  6. stir well.
  7. Add in more Warm ROLL MIX to make a soft dough.
  8. Knead about 5 min till dough is smooth.
  9. Roll dough into ropes about 1/2 inch in diameter and 18 to 24 inches long.
  10. Form into pretzels.
  11. For sticks,cut dough into 5 to 6 inch lengths.
  12. Place on prepared baking sheets.
  13. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with salt.
  14. Bake immediately 12 to 15 min,till brown and crisp.
