Orange Salad
- 2 (3 ounce) boxes orange Jell-O
- 2 cups hot water
- 1 cup fruit juice
- 1 (16 ounce) can apricots, sliced
- 20 ounces pineapple, crushed
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 cup fruit juice
- 1 egg, BEATEN
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 (16 ounce) package Dream Whip
- grated cheese
- lettuce, IF DESIRED (optional)
- Drain both apricots and pineapple.
- MIX FRUIT WITH JELLO TO SET.
- COOK SUGAR, FRUIT JUICE, EGG, AND CORNSTARCH.
- WHIP ONE PACKAGE DREAM WHIP AND FOLD INTO COOLED CUSTARD.
- PLACE ON TOP OF SET JELLO.
- ADD TOPPING OF GRATED CHEESE IF DESIRED.
- SERVE ON LETTUCE LEAF.
