Whole Wheat Parmesan Herb Loaf
- 1 14 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 12 teaspoons sugar
- 1 12 teaspoons dried onion flakes
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons 2% low-fat milk
- 1 12 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg white, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon grated parmesan cheese
- 14 teaspoon italian seasoning
- Combine first 7 ingredients.
- In another bowl, combine sour cream, milk, and butter.
- Stir into the dry ingredients, just until moistened.
- Knead on floured surface for 1 minute.
- Shape into round loaf.
- Place on greased baking sheet.
- With scissors, cut a 1/4-inch deep cross into top of loaf.
- Brush with egg white.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
- Brush.
