Barbecue Herb Meatloaf Recipe
- 1/2 c. barbecue sauce, divided
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 c. finely minced onion
- 1/4 c. minced green bell pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp. each: minced fresh parsley & minced fresh basil
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon each: dry thyme leaves & salt
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse grnd pepper
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix 1/4 c. barbecue sauce with all other ingredients.
- Shape into 7 x 3 inch loaf in 10 x 6 inch baking dish.
- Top with remaining barbecue sauce.
- Bake 45 min.
- Let stand 10 min before slicing.
- Makes 6 servings.
