Grandma's Sugar Cookies Recipe

• 1 c. vegetable oil
• 2 Large eggs
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 1 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 4 c. flour
• 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 6 tbsp. lowfat milk (may need more for desired moistness of dough)

1. Cream shortening and sugar.
2. Add in Large eggs and beat, then fold in vanilla and orange peel.
3. Add in dry ingredients alternately with lowfat milk and mix till a smooth dough is formed.
4. On floured board roll 1/8 inch thick and cut with decorative Christmas cookie cutters.
5. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets about 12 min at 375 degrees.
