Baked Ham Sauce...delicious
- 34 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 12 teaspoon dry mustard
- 12 teaspoon ground cloves
- 12 cup raisins
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained
- 1 34 cups pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 14 cup cooking sherry
- 8 maraschino cherries, cut in quarters
- Combine brown sugar, corn starch, dry mustard and cloves into saucepan.
- Blend in next 4 ingredients.
- Stir until smooth.
- Cook on simmer until it thickens, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes.
- Add sherry and cherries.
- Continue simmering for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Serve hot over baked ham or on the side.
- Enjoy!
