Chocolate Fondue

• 1/2 lb. bittersweet chocolate
• 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
• 1/2 c. water
• 1/4 c. milk
• 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
• pound cake
• Assorted fruit

1. In a large microwavable bowl, combine chocolate and butter.
2. Microwave on medium (50 percent power) 2 minutes; whisk until smooth.
3. Meanwhile in a small saucepan, heat water, milk, and corn syrup over medium-high heat just until small bubbles appear around edge of pan.
4. Whisk milk mixture into chocolate mixture until smooth.
5. Serve fondue with cake and fruit.
