Heart Attacks on a Stick
- 1 package Regular Bacon
- 1 package Bread Sticks (thick Ones, Not Thin)
- 2 cups Kraft Parmesan Cheese In Shaker Container
- Cut strips of bacon in half.
- Stretch the room temperature bacon and wrap each half around a bread stick.
- In this recipe, I used sesame seed bread sticks and garlic bread sticks.
- Line a microwave-safe tray with a paper towel.
- Lay the bacon-wrapped bread sticks on the paper towel, making sure they do not touch each other.
- Cover with another piece of paper towel.
- Microwave for 4 to 5 minutes or until the bacon is crisp.
- Remove immediately and drop into a Ziploc baggie with the parmesan cheese.
- Shake until sticks are covered with cheese.
- Do this until you run out of bread sticks.
- You will have cheese and bacon left over.
- The cheese is great sprinkled over salads if kept in the fridge.
- Allow the bread sticks to cool before serving.
- These delicious sticks will last about one week when refrigerated in an airtight container.
