Taco Dip I Recipe
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 pound lean grnd beef
- 1 (16 ounce.) can stewed tomatoes, liquid removed
- 1 tbsp. chili pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 pound Velveeta cheese
- Saute/fry onion in oil till tender.
- Don't brown.
- Add in meat and cook till dry.
- Add in tomatoes which have been pureed in blender.
- Add in seasonings.
- Cook 15 min.
- Add in cheese and heat.
- Adjust seasonings.
- Serve as a dip with tortilla chips.
