Garlic Bread Pepperoni Pizzas
- 1 loaf French Bread
- 4 Tablespoons Butter, Softened
- 4 Tablespoons Minced Garlic (from A Jar)
- 6 ounces, weight Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese, Chunk
- 14 ounces, fluid Canned Pizza Sauce
- Crushed Red Pepper, To Taste
- Grated Parmesan-Romano Cheese
- 4- 1/2 ounces, weight Pre-sliced Pepperoni
- Preheat your broiler on high.
- Cut the French bread loaf in half horizontally and then cut it in half again.
- Butter the top of each piece and then top with minced garlic.
- Put the bread on a baking sheet and put the sheet in the oven for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- While thats toasting, slice your mozzarella.
- Once the bread is toasted, top each slice with 3 heaping tablespoons of pizza sauce and then top with crushed red pepper flakes.
- You may omit this if you dont like the heat.
- Layer on the mozzarella slices and then put it back in the oven for about 3-4 minutes to allow the cheese to melt and start to bubble.
- Take them back out and add pepperoni slices and put it back into the oven for 3-4 minutes.
- Serve with warmed pizza sauce for dipping and top with Parmesan-Romano cheese.
