Asian Rice Mcnamara Recipe

  1. Saute/fry onion in extra virgin olive oil till starting to brown.
  2. Add in cooked rice and carrots and saute/fry till rice is a little crispy.
  3. Mix soy sauce and Sherry in small bowl.
  4. Sprinkle in a little garlic pwdr.
  5. Pour over rice.
  6. Mix well and saute/fry till rice begins to crisp.
  7. Fold in frzn peas and continue to saute/fry.
  8. When peas are heated through, make a well in center of rice and pour in beaten egg.
  9. Stir with a fork till cooked througn, then distribute the egg through the rice.
  10. Serve warm, garnished with sliced green onion tops.
