Grilled Chicken Sausage with Jalapeno Slaw and Cream Cheese
- 1 package (12 Oz. Size) Chicken Sausage (such As Johnsonville)
- 5 Hot Dog Buns
- 2 cups Broccoli Slaw Mix
- 1 Jalapeno, Seeded And Finely Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Stone Ground Mustard
- 2 Tablespoons Cider Vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 dash Pepper
- 4 ounces, fluid Cream Cheese, Softened
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill sausages 15-20 minutes until nicely browned on all sides.
- Toast hot dog buns during the last minute of grilling.
- Meanwhile, prepare slaw.
- In a large bowl, combine broccoli slaw mix, jalapeno, mustard, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Stir well to combine.
- Set aside.
- Smear about 1 tablespoon of softened cream cheese onto each bun.
- Place hot sausage onto cream cheese and pile on the slaw.
