Raspberry Almond Trifle Parfaits

  1. SANDWICH 2 wafers together with raspberry jam; repeat for all wafers and set aside.
  2. COMBINE sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan; stir in milk.
  3. Beat cream and egg yolks; add to milk mixture.
  4. Cook and stir over medium heat, until custard is smooth and thickened.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in liqueur; cool slightly.
  7. LAYER raspberries, wafer sandwiches and custard, dividing evenly among 6 parfait glasses.
  8. Cover and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.
  9. GARNISH with whipped topping, toasted almonds and raspberries.
