Healthy Energy Bar

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees (175 C.).
  2. Line an 8x8x2-inch baking pan with aluminum foil.
  3. Spray foil with nonstick spray coating.
  4. Set pan aside.
  5. In a large bowl combine oats, flour, cereal, and ginger.
  6. Add egg, applesauce, honey, brown sugar and oil; mix well.
  7. Stir in fruit bits, sunflower nuts, flax seed and walnuts.
  8. Spread mixture evenly in prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges.
  10. Cool on wire rack.
  11. Use edges of foil to lift from pan.
