Peppermint Candy Spritz

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. Combine all cookie ingredients except flour in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed until creamy.
  4. Add flour; beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  5. If dough is too soft to form cookies, cover and refrigerate about 1 hour or until firm.
  6. Place dough into cookie press fitted with desired template; form desired shapes, 1 inch apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  8. Place waxed paper onto flat surface; top with cooling racks.
  9. Remove cookies to cooling racks.
  10. Cool completely.
  11. Combine powdered sugar and enough milk for desired drizzling consistency in bowl; mix well.
  12. Drizzle over cooled cookies; sprinkle with crushed mint candies.
