Peach Sorbet Recipe

  1. In food processor bowl, combine peaches and lemon juice; cover and process till smooth.
  2. In large mixing bowl, stir together sugar and 1 c. boiling water till sugar is dissolved.
  3. Stir in peach mix and grated orange peel.
  4. Turn into a 9 x 13 pan; cover and freeze 3 to 4 hrs or possibly till hard.
  5. Break into chunks; transfer to a chilled, large mixer bowl.
  6. Beat with an electric mixer on medium high speed till smooth.
  7. Return to pan; cover.
  8. Freeze for several hrs or possibly till hard.
  9. Let stand 20 min at room temperature before scooping into dessert dishes.
