L'alapan' Balinese Fried Chicken
- 150 grams Chicken thigh meat
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp each Vinegar, sake
- 2 tbsp A. Canned tomato
- 1 tbsp each A. Sake, mirin, mentsuyu
- 1 tsp each A. Sugar, chili sauce (or doubanjiang)
- 1 Vegetable oil
- Quickly boil the chicken until the surface changes color.
- Cut notches into the center of the chicken from Step 1.
- Sprinkle salt on both sides and season with vinegar and sake.
- Add a large amount oil to a frying pan.
- Place the chicken in the pan with the skin side down and fry as you scoop the oil over the top of the chicken.
- Cut into pieces once the chicken is arranged on a plate.
- Combine the A. ingredients and microwave for 1 minute.
- Spread the sauce on a plate and place the chicken on top.
- It's done.
