Pecan Praline Cookies
- 1 12 cups flour
- 14 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 12 cups brown sugar, packed
- 12 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 12 cup half-and-half
- 13 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 34 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees .
- In small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Set aside.
- In large mixer bowl, beat 1 1/2 cups brown sugar and butter until combined.
- Add egg and beat until fluffy.
- Add flour mix and beat until combined.
- Stir in 1 cup pecans.
- Drop by rounded tsp onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10-12 minutes or til bottoms are lightly browned.
- Transfer to wire racks and cool completely.
- FOR GLAZE:.
- In small saucepan combine half and half and 1/3 cup brown sugar.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Boil for 2 min more, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and beat in powdered sugar.
- Put 1 tsp chopped pecans on each cookie.
- Drizzle glaze over pecans.
- Let stand at room temp until set.
