Pelau Recipe

  1. Add in sugar to meat and brown; add in 1 c. water and all seasonings.
  2. Cover and simmer till meat is tender.
  3. Add in water when necessary to prevent meat from burning.
  4. Add in 4 c. water.
  5. Add in rice and stir well.
  6. Add in salt.
  7. Cook till rice is soft.
  8. Stir in butter.
