Peaches And Mince Pie Recipe
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 1 (8 ounce.) jar prepared mincemeat
- 1 (6 ounce.) can sliced peaches, liquid removed
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In a small bowl, mix flour, sugar, soda, cinnamon and salt.
- Stir in oil and lowfat milk till crumbly.
- Spread mince meat in bottom of pie shell.
- Sprinkle with half of crumb mix.
- Arrange peaches in 2 circles on top of pie shell.
- Sprinkle with half of crumb mix.
- Arrange peaches in 2 circles on top of pie.
- Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
- Bake 15 min.
- Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking for 25 to 30 min or possibly till crust is browned and filling is set.
- Cold before cutting.
- Serves 6 to 8.
