Black Bean and Rice Burgers(Guam)

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Pan spray a 14" X 16" cookie sheet and dust with cornmeal.
  3. In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  4. Let the mixture stand for 15 minutes.
  5. Divide and form into 8 patties using wax paper and place on baking sheet.
  6. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until browned and firm.
  7. Serve as you would traditional ones with fat free condiments such as ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, etc.
  8. on a whole wheat bun.
  9. Healthy and delicious!
