Bemelmans Barter
- 1 1/2 ounces V.S. Cognac, like Courvoisier V.S. or Hennessy V.S
- 5 ounces orange Curacao
- 1 ounce pineapple juice
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 twist orange peel
- In a mixing glass, combine the Cognac, Curacao, pineapple juice and Angostura bitters.
- Add ice and mix well.
- Strain drink into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Lightly dust with nutmeg.
- Holding the orange twist with tongs, touch a flame to it so the oil in the skin briefly lights.
- Add to glass and serve.
