Mint Tea from Morocco
- 4 cups water
- 4 teaspoons green tea (loose)
- 13 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves
- Pour water into a 2-quart glass bowl.
- Cover and microwave on high for 8 minutes until just boiling.
- Little bubbles will appear on the water surface.
- Add sugar, tea and mint leaves.
- Cover with a lid or plate and let steep for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Stir gently.
- Pour tea through a sieve into glasses.
