Ospidillo Cafe Meatball Sauce

  1. In a large no-stick skillet, sautee the onion in the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. When the onions are tender, add the tomatoes and allow them to simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the wine, chili sauce, basil and vegetable juice.
  4. Bring to a boil and then add salt to taste.
  5. Transfer the sauce to a crock pot and add in your meatballs if desired.
  6. Allow to simmer on the Low setting for six hours.
  7. Serve over spaghetti or other pasta.
