Yogi Tea
- 2 quarts water
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup half-and-half
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 2 teaspoons whole cloves
- 2 teaspoons cardamom seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Bring the water to a boil, then reduce it to a simmer.
- Add the milk, half-and-half, sugar, and cinnamon, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and simmer an additional 30 minutes.
- Strain and serve hot or cold.
