Baked Eel Salonika Recipe

  1. Rinse eel with cool water.
  2. Oil baking pan with half of the oil.
  3. Place slices of eel on pan.
  4. Sauce: Heat remaining oil in frying pan, and fry onions and garlic on medium heat for 5 min.
  5. Add in remaining ingredients and cover.
  6. Cook 10 min.
  7. Pour sauce over eel.
  8. Bake 45 min at 375 degrees.
  9. Serve with crusty bread and a crisp salad.
