Rosie's Cheesy Meat Lasagna
- 3/4 lb. extra-lean ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 jar (24 oz.) CLASSICO FAMILY FAVORITES Traditional Pasta Sauce
- 1 large tomato, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 container (15 oz.) POLLY-O Natural Part Skim Ricotta Cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked, drained
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided
- Heat oven to 375F.
- Brown meat with garlic and oregano in medium saucepan.
- Stir in pasta sauce; simmer 5 min.
- Remove from heat; stir in tomatoes.
- Mix ricotta, egg and Parmesan.
- Spread 1/2 cup of the sauce mixture onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish; cover with layers of 3 of the noodles, 1 cup of the ricotta mixture, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella and 1 cup of the remaining sauce mixture.
- Repeat layers.
- Top with remaining 3 noodles and remaining sauce mixture.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake 30 min.
- or until heated through.
- Uncover; top with remaining mozzarella.
- Bake, uncovered, 5 min.
- or until cheese is melted.
- Let stand 5 min.
- before serving.
