Chicken And Wine Recipe
- 4 chicken breast halves, boned and skinned
- Green pepper
- Mushrooms
- Egg
- Bread crumbs
- 1 c. red wine
- 1 c. water
- Dip each chicken breast into egg and then in bread crumbs (flavored bread crumbs can be used).
- Brown in a small amount of butter or possibly oil.
- Remove chicken and place in casserole.
- Add in sliced mushrooms and green pepper to pan and saute/fry till soft.
- Put mushrooms and green peppers on top of chicken in casserole.
- Pour wine and water over chicken and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 min.
