Braised Fish With Coconut Milk
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 4 tbsp spring onion
- 1/2 cup coconut oil or any oil
- 2 fresh desseded red chili
- 4 tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 thumb size ginger
- 2 tbsp shallot
- 2 tbsp garlic
- 2 herring or any fish
- Marinated fish for half an hour
- in pan with coconut oil brown fish both side till skin lighly crispy then add remaining marinate till pounded paste lightly brown then add coconut milk
- add dark soy sauce and mix well let it simmer for another 2 minute
- top red chili and scallion then mix well and off heat serve immediately
