Crunchy Vegetable Bulgar Salad Recipe
- 1 c. ala bulgar
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 carrots, coarsely minced
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced green onions
- 1 sm. minced green pepper
- 1 stalk thinly sliced celery
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/3 c. salad oil
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry basil
- 1/2 teaspoon each sugar, dry mustard and pepper
- Cover bulgar with boiling water and let stand 1 hour.
- Cold: then add in vegetables.
- Add in dressing, cover and let stand 4 hrs.
- Dressing recipe starts with the lemon juice.
- You will be ever so healthy eating this salad.
