Chili Cheese Fries
- 2 pounds Frozen Seasoned French Fries
- 1 teaspoon Butter
- 1/2 cups Milk (more If Needed To Thin Sauce)
- 1/4 pounds American Cheese, Deli Or Singles
- 18 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- Your Favorite Chili, Warm, For Topping
- 1/2 cups Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese
- 1 container (8 Oz. Container) Sour Cream
- Cook fries according to package directions.
- Bake them if you prefer not to fry them.
- In a medium sauce pan, melt butter and milk; add the American cheese, salt and pepper.
- Keep on low heat, stirring constantly until cheese is completly melted.
- (If sauce is too thick, add more milk 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring until smooth.)
- Place cooked fries on a platter, top with chili, then shredded cheese and dollops of the sour cream.
- Serve warm.
