Onion Tart

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter and saute onions until soft.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet.
  5. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown.
  6. Drain, crumble and set aside.
  7. Mix in eggs.
  8. Pour into prepared shell and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for approximately 20 minutes.
  9. Top with bacon, Can be served warm or cold.
