Spanish Rice
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 dash salt
- 14 cup picante sauce
- 14 cup sour cream
- 14 cup Mexican blend cheese
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- Bring water, salt and taco seasoning to a boil.
- Add rice and cover.
- Simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Lay slices of turkey bacon between 2 paper towels and microwave for about 2 minutes or until just crispy.
- When the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed add the picante sause, sour cream, chopped turkey bacon, and cheese.
- Mix well and serve.
- (You can reserve just a bit of the picante sause, sour cream, cheese, and bacon to use as garnish.
