Hot Scicillian Sandwich
- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 12 cup woebers spicy mustard or 12 cup Dijon mustard, of your choice
- 12 lb hard salami, sliced thin
- 12 lb deli thin sliced virginia ham
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 12 slices cooked bacon
- shredded lettuce
- sliced tomatoes (optional)
- Slice Italian bread length wise without slicing all the way through and lay open on a piece of aluminum foil on a large baking sheet.
- Spread mustard on both sides of bread.
- Lay salami in a single layer on both sides of the bread.
- Lay ham in a single layer on the salami.
- Place Provolone cheese on top of ham.
- Criss-crosss the bacon and lay on top of the Provolone cheese.
- Place in a 375 oven for approx 10 min or till cheese is melted and beginning to turn brown.
- Add lettuce and tomato.
- Slice into 2-4" pieces depending on how it is to be eaten (meal or appetizer).
