Easy Cabbage Rolls Baked with Cheese

  1. Finely chop the onion and put into a bowl.
  2. Combine the ingredients.
  3. Add the ground meat and panko to the bowl in Step 1, plus the ingredients.
  4. Mix together well, divide into 4 portions and form into balls.
  5. Choose large cabbage leaves.
  6. Boil them until tender.
  7. Shave off the thick core parts of the cabbage leaves, and flatten the leaves out.
  8. Layer 2 leaves together with some overlap.
  9. Put a portion of the meat mixture a bit lower than center on each pair of leaves, and wrap up tightly.
  10. Make 4 rolls.
  11. Put the cabbage rolls on a heatproof dish, leaving some space in between.
  12. Top with the sliced cheese and bake in a 180C oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
  13. Mix the ingredients together in a bowl.
  14. Transfer the cooked cabbage rolls to serving plates and pour the combined sauce over them.
  15. Sprinkle with parsley and you're done.
