Healthy yet Yummy Bran Muffins
- 1 cup white flour (or 1/2 cup white and 1/2 cup whole wheat)
- 1 cup bran flakes
- 34 cup raisins
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup skim milk
- 3 tablespoons apples, sauce
- 5 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Spray muffin pan with cooking spray (muffins will stick to paper liners).
- Mix dry ingredients together in large bowl.
- In a separate bowl combine remaining ingredients.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
- Mix together until smooth.
- Fill each tin approximately 2/3 full (more for a larger muffin top).
- Bake approximately 18 minutes or until golden brown.
