Baked MAC and Cheese
- 16 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 cup colby cheese
- 3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 1/2 tbsp flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- cook elbows according to direction.
- melt butter over low heat.
- stir in enough of the flour to make a roux.
- add milk slowly to butter mixture.
- upon thickening, add the cheeses slowly, reserving 1/4 cup for top.
- add in salt, sugar and onion powder.
- add cooked macaroni to baking dish and pour cheese sauce over top.
- add leftover cheese on top and bake at 350* for 30 min.
