Game Day Chicken and Chilly Cheese Fries
- 12 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 6 medium russet potatoes
- 2 cup prepared chili
- 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp salt, divided
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Start my recipe for stovetop steak fries.
- You are just using the cooking technique.
- Using amount of potatoes called for above and cook in the oil called for above too.
- Use 1/2 teaspoon of salt over fries after cooking.
- Slice the chicken breast into medallion cuts.
- Mix flour with 1/4 salt and paprika.
- Dredge chicken in flour mix.
- Cook in leftover fry oil for 2 minutes a side.
- Layer chicken n bottom of large baking dish.
- Then layer cooked fries.
- Spoon ready cooked chili on top and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
- You can serve with dollops of sour cream and avocado slices.
