Bills Veal and Mushrooms
- 12 lb thinly sliced veal
- 12 lb baby portabella mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt (you can cut to 1 teaspoon if you like)
- 12 teaspoon fresh ground pepper (watkins brand is great)
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 12 cup red wine (Italian if Possible)
- 12 cup milk
- 12 cup flour, with
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 dash garlic salt
- 1 dash basil
- 34 cup parmesan cheese, chheese (grated or use Kraft brand in a bag.)
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 teaspoons olive oil (for Veal)
- Put olive oil in a large frying pan and add onion and sarlic and cook till tender.
- add mushrooms, spices and cook for a couple three minutes.
- Add Red Wine and cook till liquid is nearly gone.
- Put the contents of the pan on a dish and set aside.
- add a little oil to the pan.
- Then pull the veal thru the milk and dredge it in the flour and cook in pan till brown on both sides pour mushrooms mixture over the Veal put cheese on top .
- Cover till heated and cheese is melted.
- Serve and enjoy.
