Mango Pie
- 1 mango, peeled, seeded, and sliced
- 1/4 tbsp lime juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- pinch salt
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 packages pie crust, prepared double
- Preheate oven to 350F
- Toss the slides green mango with lime juice to the large bowl
- In separate bowl, toss together flour, sugar, salt, and nutmeg
- Layer the sugar mixture and the sliced mango in several layers in the pie shell bottom.
- Dot with butter, then top with the other half of the pie crust.
- Pirck with the forks
- Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, until the mango has softned and the pie crust golden brown.
