Easy Microwaved Pickles

  1. Put the seasonings marked into a heatproof container and microwave at 500 W for 3 minutes.
  2. It's done when the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Put the vegetables into the warmed seasonings.
  4. There's no need to rub them with salt.
  5. Microwave for 5 minutes.
  6. Adjust the time to suit the amount of vegetables that you are using.
  7. Mix everything together, and transfer it to a storage container.
  8. When it has cooled down, put it in the fridge.
  9. It's ready to eat after 2-3 hours.
  10. I've been making this with red bell pepper lately.
  11. It's sweet, sour and delicious.
