Cube steak and beans
- 6 cube steaks
- 28 oz can of diced tomatoes
- 2 cubes beef bouillon
- 1 cup water
- 1 can dark kidney beans
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 4 cup rice, prepared according to package
- Slice steak into strips, put in crockpot.
- Mix bouillon with water, stir to dissolve.
- I use a beef bouillon paste which dissolves faster.
- Combine all spices, diced tomatoes, kidney beans and diced onion.
- Add to crockpot.
- Stir in beef bouillon.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Cook on low for 6 hours.
- Serve over prepared rice.
