Donner And Blitzen Or Meringue Layers With Fruit Recipe

  1. Cake Batter: Cream 1/2 c. sugar and butter with egg yolks.
  2. Beat till light and fluffy.
  3. Add in lowfat milk, flour and baking pwdr.
  4. Spread in two buttered 8 inch tins.
  5. It will be thin layers.
  6. Meringue: Beat egg whites till dry.
  7. Add in gradually 1 c. sugar and cream of tartar.
  8. Spread over batter in pans.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 min.
  10. Turn out layers.
  11. Alternate whipped cream, fruit, and layers.
  12. Enjoy!
