Ham and Broccoli Bake
- 10 ounces frozen chopped broccoli
- 12 slices white bread
- 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups ham, diced and cooked
- 2 teaspoons onions, finely grated
- 6 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3 12 cups milk
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon dry mustard
- pepper
- Grease 13x9" baking dish.
- Partially cook broccoli; drain well on paper towels.
- Cut each slice of bread with a donut/star cutter.
- Fit scraps into prepared baking dish.
- Layer cheese, broccoli and ham over bread scrapes.
- Sprinkle with grated onion.
- Arrange donuts/stars on top.
- In a large bowl combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard; pour over the bread.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 325 and bake uncovered for 1 hour or until a knife would will come out clean.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
