Elaine's Mother's Brisket

  1. Combine marinade ingredients and pour in to a large plastic zip lock bag.
  2. Add meat.
  3. Place bag in refrigerator for 24 hours.
  4. Remove meat from marinade.
  5. Sprinkle generously with salt.
  6. Bake at 300 degrees, covered for 2 hours.
  7. Remove meat from pan.
  8. Slice meat against the grain.
  9. Return to pan for 1 more hour.
